Best family resort in Maui for kids under 9?

Hi everyone. We're thinking about taking the girls to Maui next year and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the resort options. We'd love somewhere with a great pool, easy beach access, and enough activities to keep the kids happy without having to leave the resort every day. If you've stayed somewhere you'd actually go back to, I'd love to hear about it. Bonus points if the rooms are a decent size and there are good food options nearby too.

We stayed in Ka'anapali and really liked it with our two kids. Easy walk to the beach, plenty of places to eat nearby, and we didn't feel like we had to drive everywhere. We did head out most days, but it was nice knowing the kids were just as happy spending an afternoon by the pool. I'd happily stay in that area again.

We haven't stayed in Maui yet, but when I'm comparing family resorts I spend a fair bit of time reading the recent Booking.com reviews. I usually filter for families with children and sort by the newest reviews rather than just looking at the overall score. Parents often mention things like how good the pool is, whether the beach is easy to access, room size, and if the kids actually enjoyed staying there. I've found those comments much more helpful than the hotel photos. Hope you find somewhere your girls love!
